Paris Fashion Week: The Art of Experiencing Paris

An insider’s edit of runway moments, timeless addresses, beautiful dining and effortless luxury.

Swetta Kathuria's first Paris Fashion Week runway diary

Paris Fashion Week has a way of turning even the smallest moments into memories. Of course, the shows and the fashion are extraordinary. But I love just as much what happens between them: a beautiful lunch, an intimate celebration, a timeless hotel setting, or an evening that unfolds over dinner and conversation.

For my Paris Fashion Week SS27 visit, I wanted to experience the city with intention. From the MODA runway shows and the Fashion Week Studio presentation to an evening celebrating Temperley London, my days brought together runway inspiration, personal style and some of Paris’s most memorable addresses. This is my personal diary, alongside a curated address book for anyone planning a future Paris escape.

“True style is not simply what we wear. It is the way we choose to experience the world.”

Part One | The Shows and the City

My first days in Paris were about finding my rhythm and taking in the energy of Fashion Week. My first runway experience brought together two shows and nine designers at the beautiful Hôtel de Maisons. Sitting among the guests and watching each collection unfold was a moment I will always remember.

A heartfelt thank you to @modaproductionsofficial and @tracy__murray for having me. The runway was full of ideas, individuality and the kind of creative energy that makes Paris Fashion Week so special.

Inside My First Paris Fashion Week Show

The runway, in focus

The first shows featured designs from @aleenelsabbagh, @alersundi, @hebajasmiofficial, @fjollanilaofficial, @almee.lii and @zainabchottaniofficial, alongside Sarah Abbass, Samira & Regeane and Levorcy. The photographs and behind-the-scenes moments capture the atmosphere of an evening that made my first Paris Fashion Week feel truly unforgettable.

Front Row Diaries | Day Two

Day Two took me to the beautiful Pavillon Dauphine for the MISOOK runway presentation, presented by Fashion Week Studio. From the anticipation before the first look to the details moving down the runway, the afternoon was filled with beautiful fashion and unmistakable Paris Fashion Week energy.

A special thank you to @fashionweekstudiopr for the invitation and @fashionweekstudioofficial for having me. I felt so grateful to experience another memorable moment of PFW SS27 from the front row.

Maison Revka and the Paris After-Hours Mood

Beyond the runway, Paris Fashion Week is a world of intimate celebrations, beautiful connections and extraordinary fashion moments. An evening at Maison Revka brought a different mood: romantic, glamorous and unmistakably Parisian. It was the kind of setting that makes the evening itself part of the memory.

The Socialites gathering and cocktails at the legendary Ritz Paris added another chapter to those first days. Both Bar Hemingway and the Ritz Bar belong on a Paris address list for anyone who loves classic interiors and a distinctly Parisian evening atmosphere.

A Pause for Parisian Elegance | Hôtel de Crillon

Between runway shows, a leisurely lunch at the iconic Hôtel de Crillon offered a moment to slow down and take in the details. There is something special about stepping away from the pace of Fashion Week and enjoying a beautiful setting without rushing through it.

It was also a reminder that personal style is not about following every trend. It is about knowing who you are, embracing your individuality and appreciating the moments that feel right. Some experiences are simply too beautiful to hurry.

A Little Pause for Parisian Elegance

Part Two | Fashion, Pop-Ups and Beautiful Addresses

The next chapter brought more fashion, beautiful settings and editorial moments. One of the highlights was an exclusive evening at @maisondelanoparis celebrating @temperleylondon and the Paris presentation of Jack Isenberg’s debut collection. From the elegant surroundings and champagne to inspiring conversations and timeless fashion, it was a lovely reminder of how much happens beyond the runway.

A heartfelt thank you to @rina_kim_world for the invitation and for bringing everyone together, and special appreciation to @sasha_kozlovich for capturing the moments.

An Evening with Temperley London

Fashion Week beyond the shows

The city kept offering new perspectives: the Vogue Café pop-up, the Victoria Beckham pop-up at Le Bristol Paris, and the Badgley Mischka presentation at Ritz Paris were all part of the wider Fashion Week story. Pop-ups and event access can be temporary, so they are best treated as inspiration for a future trip rather than permanent stops.

I also enjoyed an evening at Hôtel Plaza Athénée. The setting made it a memorable place to dress up, settle in and enjoy another side of Paris. The precise restaurant venue from that dinner has not been confirmed, so this guide refers to the hotel rather than assigning the visit to a specific restaurant.

Paris, Made Effortless | Private Chauffeur

With shows, pop-ups, appointments and dinner plans across the city, transportation becomes part of the experience. Paris Private Experience made moving between stops feel effortless, with a private chauffeur and a Mercedes-Benz V-Class waiting between destinations. It meant less time thinking about logistics and more time enjoying each moment.

The Little Details That Make a Trip

Fashion Week can make Paris feel wonderfully fast-paced, but I always want to leave room for the small moments: a pause between appointments, a beautiful room, a meal that lasts longer than expected, or a conversation that becomes a memory. These details are what make a trip feel personal.

For a future visit, I would plan the itinerary around confirmed event times and reservations, leave a little breathing room between locations, and check temporary pop-ups and private-club access ahead of time. The best address book is one that leaves space for spontaneity.

Paris is always beautiful. But it is the moments you choose to notice that make it yours.
