Old money energy meets classic Vegas glamour high above the Strip.

48 Hours at Palms Las Vegas

There’s something surreal about spending an entire weekend high above the city while everything below you keeps moving at a frantic pace. The moment I walked into the One-Story Sky Villa at Palms Casino Resort, the constant hum and noise of Las Vegas simply disappeared.

Some stays just feel different. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrapped around the entire villa, letting the light pour in from every conceivable angle. This wasn't just a suite; it was an elevated sanctuary where timeless luxury, elegance, and effortless style converged.

A Slower Pace in the Sky

Vegas always feels different when you force yourself to slow down for a second. The days blurred together in the best way possible. Mornings began slowly—sipping coffee by the windows, taking in sweeping skyline views, and wandering barefoot through the expansive suite as sunlight poured across the marble and glass.

With a private hot tub, a personal sauna, a massage room, a private gym, and dedicated butler service, there was little reason to leave. Afternoons were spent effortlessly drifting between the pool and the rooftop hot tub, gazing out over the city below. For a while, time genuinely slowed down. By my last night, I realized I had stopped checking the clock entirely. And honestly, that’s exactly how you know a place is truly special.

Classic Vegas Glamour

While the villa offered quiet, soft luxury, the rest of the weekend was the perfect mix of high-end indulgence and fun. We leaned into the classic Vegas aesthetic with an unforgettable dinner at Scotch 80 Prime. The combination of perfectly poured martinis, incredible steaks, and dim candlelight felt entirely iconic.

Later that evening, taking in the city lights from Ghostbar quickly became one of my favorite moments of the whole trip. Watching the neon pulse across the Strip from that vantage point is a quintessential Las Vegas experience.

We balanced the nightlife with restorative spa mornings at Spawell, ensuring the trip remained rejuvenating. And ending everything with world-class dim sum at Tim Ho Wan felt like the absolute perfect final stop before heading home. It was one of those weekends that beautifully reminds you why people fall in love with Las Vegas in the first place.
